Background

Tim Pebler began reconstructing accident when working as Police Officer for the Scottsdale, Arizona, Police Department serving as the city-wide accident reconstructionist until joining the Arizona Department of Public Safety as a highway patrolman in 1979. During his nearly 10 years as an Arizona Highway Patrolman, Mr. continued to reconstruct accident not only that he was directly involved with, but also assisted other law enforcement agencies and county attorney offices in northern Arizona with their accident cases. During his last several years as an Arizona Highway Patrolman, Mr. Pebler served as the northern Arizona accident reconstructionist. From the beginning with the Scottsdale Police Department, Mr. Pebler researched books and studies relating to accident reconstruction and attended classes on accident reconstruction to further his knowledge and credibility in the field. That research and class attendance has continued through today. While working as an Arizona Highway Patrolman, Mr. Pebler took university classes in mathematics, physics and engineering. Those studies continued after leaving the Arizona Department of Public Safety in 1987 to pursue mechanical engineering and growing Collision Dynamics, LLC.

Having the practical experience of on-scene accident investigations while in law enforcement and the university studies in math, physic and engineering brings a unique quality to reconstructing accidents in the private world.

Mr. Pebler is accredited through the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR no. 612). He is also a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), member and past Board member and Board Chairman of the Southwestern Association of Technical Accident Investigators, Inc. (SATAI) and the National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists, Inc. (NAPARS). He is also a FAA certified private pilot and a commercial SUAS (Drone) pilot.
